Steam wands and milk frothers cleaner

Daily use of pulyMILK® Plus ensures complete removal of residues from the processing of milk and plant-based beverages that accumulate inside and outside the steam wand.
It also cleans milk pitchers, automatic frothers, and countertop milk dispensers.
It is certified by the NSF International – the U.S. organization for public health protection – and formulated with raw materials recognised by the USFA – U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Hence, pulyMILK® Plus cleans while respecting the operator, the environment, and the parts it comes into contact with. Its effectiveness is ensured by a balanced formulation that first attacks milk proteins, then cleans away fats.
Its built-in dispenser makes it practical and easy to use.

Cleaning tips

Milk and plant-based beverages are emulsions composed of sugars, mineral salts, proteins, vitamins, and lipids: proteins contribute to the formation of small bubbles, while the fatty part supports the layering of milk foam.
Upon contact with the warm surface of the steam wand, automatic frother, and milk pitcher, milk tends to form deposits of inorganic material, which incorporate organic substances such as fat and proteins that provide a favorable substrate for bacterial growth.
Cleaning the equipment with pulyMILK® Plus once a day (or twice for those who produce more emulsions) helps removing internal and external residues, ensures hygienic safety, and enhances steam quality.

Step by step

Steam wands – daily cleaning

  1. pour 25 ml of pulyMILK® Plus in 500 ml of cold water
  2. open the steam tap for 1 second then close it for 10 seconds, repeat 7-10 times
  3. proceed with rinsing, pouring 1 liter of cold water in the washing basin
  4. open the steam tap for 1 second then close it for 10 seconds, repeat 7-10 times

Milk frothers – daily cleaning

  1. pour 25 ml of pulyMILK® Plus in 500 ml of cold water
  2. start the frother
  3. proceed with rinsing, pouring 1 liter of cold water in the washing basin
  4. start the frother
